MOTHER THERESA HOME FOR GIRLS, VAZHATHOPE

St. Mother Theresa Home is situated in a small village Bhoomiyamkulam near Vazhathope, in Idukki Dt. The Good Shepherd Province Irinjalakuda started St. Mother Theresa Home for the less fortunate young girls of the rural area who are having difficulties to continue their education with various reasons including poor economic status and broken family relationships. Sisters provide peaceful homely environment, supporting them to attain faith based education and become productive members of the society. Mar Mathew Anikuzhikattil, the Bishop of Idukki diocese officiated the inauguration and blessing of St. Mother Theresa Home and there are 20 girls from 5th standard to Plus-Two are getting benefited of our services. Recently, sisters extended their service sheltering the homeless, sick and elderly women of the surrounding area and remain a hope for the helpless people.
